How Kinetiv handles your information

Plain language. No surprises. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Last updated: June 26, 2026

The short version

Kinetiv Consulting LLC ("Kinetiv," "we," "us") helps mid-market companies design and build custom Microsoft 365 Copilot agents. This policy covers the information we collect when you visit kinetivconsulting.com, fill out a form, subscribe to our updates, or talk with our Kinetiv Copilot assistant.

We collect only what we need to respond to you, send you what you asked for, and understand how people find us. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for others' advertising without your consent.

Information you give us

When you submit a form, apply to the Founding Client Program, subscribe to our updates, or contact us, we collect what you choose to provide. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, company and company size, job title, LinkedIn profile, your current Microsoft Copilot deployment status, the operational problem or use case you describe, any message you send us, and whether you've consented to receive marketing emails (and when that consent was given).

You decide what to share. If you'd rather just read the site, you don't have to give us any of this.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect some technical and source information automatically: how you arrived at the site (the campaign, source, and referral information carried in the link you clicked, and which call-to-action you used), the first campaign that brought you to us, standard analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and your time zone. This helps us understand which of our efforts are working and improve the site.

Information from the Kinetiv Copilot assistant

Our site includes Kinetiv Copilot, an AI assistant built on Microsoft Copilot Studio. When you use it, your questions and the conversation are processed to answer you. If you choose to share contact details or submit a request through the assistant, that information is handled the same way as any other form submission described above.

How the site uses cookies

Our website runs on Squarespace, which sets cookies necessary for the site to function and to measure visitor activity through Squarespace's built-in analytics. We use this to understand general site usage — not to track you across other websites.

We also use two third-party tools to measure our marketing, and both load only after you accept cookies:

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures how people find and move through the site (pages viewed, source, device, and similar usage data) so we can improve it. It does not run advertising on our site.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — lets us measure how our LinkedIn campaigns perform and reach relevant professional audiences on LinkedIn. This is the one tool that involves sharing limited activity data with an advertising provider, and it runs only with your consent.

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Neither tool above loads until you accept, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie-preferences link on the site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as a request to limit non-essential tracking as our tools support it.

Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Some site features may not work as well if you do.

What we do with your information

  • Respond to your questions and requests
  • Deliver what you signed up for — updates, resources, or program materials
  • Review and process Founding Client Program applications
  • Send marketing and educational emails, but only if you've consented
  • Understand how people find and use the site, and improve our marketing
  • Keep the site secure and working properly
  • Meet our legal and record-keeping obligations

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Who sees your information

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent. We do use trusted service providers who process information on our behalf so we can run the business:

  • Squarespace — hosts our website
  • Brevo — stores our contact records and sends our email updates
  • Microsoft — powers the Kinetiv Copilot assistant (Microsoft Copilot Studio) and our Microsoft 365 environment
  • Google — provides the analytics (Google Analytics 4) that measure site usage
  • LinkedIn — provides the Insight Tag that measures our LinkedIn ad campaigns (loads only with your consent)

These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

What you can do

  • Unsubscribe — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We'll honor it.
  • Access, correct, or delete — you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • Withdraw consent — if you previously consented to marketing, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Opt out of ad-related sharing — you can decline advertising cookies in our cookie banner (or via the cookie-preferences link on the site) at any time. This stops the LinkedIn Insight Tag from loading. You can also email us to opt out.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or, if applicable, the EU/UK GDPR. We extend the core choices above to everyone. To make any request, contact us using the details below — we won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

How long we keep it, how we protect it

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide what you asked for, run our business, and meet legal obligations — then we delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our site and services are intended for businesses and the people who run them. They are not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
